New Yorker problems:
when someone dies at your train station and you gotta deal with some serious delays
It’s actually kinda sad how desensitized this makes NYers look
Ok but ya don’t even know how long that wait is if somebody dies on a train??
Literally HOURS.
Like we have to wait for EMTs, cops, MTA officials, & all that to come assess the situation, then we have to get off the train bc it’s now out of service, wait for them to clear it to leave which could take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, & we have to wait for the next train which is already packed so we don’t all fit & end up having to wait another 15minutes for another train.
Like we’re not desensitized!
This city is expensive AF & we have to get to work!!!They don’t understand if they dont live in NYC . People have gotten fired because of train delays.
This happened to me once and they told us that someone would come get us and guide us through the tunnel for the ones that wanted to leave.
